For over 35 years, Dean has dedicated himself to designing, educating, inventing, and installing renewable energy and energy efficient technology in the Davis and surrounding areas. He is nationally recognized for his achievements and technological advancements in hydronics, radiant heating and cooling, and for his well sought out invention, Xlath. Talbott Solar & Radiant Homes INC is the leader in photovoltaic solar system design and installation in Yolo County. He is well liked amongst his community members for his philanthropic work, and is a key member of the Citizens Task Force on energy and other energy related volunteer and local resources commissions/organizations. Over the years, Dean has enjoyed leading several seminars on residential passive solar design, and has held numerous conferences on renewable energy systems. Be sure to say hi to Dean if you see him cruising around town in his pearly white 2011 Chevy Volt. If you were wondering how he charges his car, lets just say that his home's PV system single handedly powers his eco-friendly vehicle.

Stephanie Carman Burgos

Stephanie joined the team to turn a new leaf in Talbott's marketing, social media, and public relations. Thanks to her education in Environment and Security from San Diego State and experience as an Energy Savings Intern at Alliance to Save Energy: Green Campus Program, Stephanie is a sustainability enthusiast and enjoys serving her Davis community and surrounding counties at Talbott. In her free time, she enjoys various outdoor sports including running, rock climbing, and paddle boarding.

Nahum Navarrete
-Electrical/Solar Install-
Nahum's extensive experience in construction, installation, and electrical postions qualified him to join the team as one of Talbott's electrical experts in 2005. In addition to performing solar installations on your home or business, you may also see Nahum setting up at various Home Shows or Community Fairs, answering your questions about PV installations. Nahum's easygoing personality and strong work ethic make him a personable yet reliable team member, especially when there are several close project deadlines. In Nahum's free time, you may find him dirt biking or fishing with his family.

Gene Woo
-Project Coordinator-
With a degree in Electrical Engineering from University of California, Davis, and an everlasting interest in renewable energy systems, Gene has been able to combine his two passions through his work at Talbott, part time, as Project Coordinator. Gene designs solar permit plans and follows up with customers in order to optimize client-to-staff interaction. In his free time, Gene services vehicles and works away at various other electrical jobs.

Sharla Cheney

As Talbott's bookkeeper, Sharla heads accounting efforts, keeps records up to date and ensures timely payments. In addition to being part of the Talbott Team, she is also UC Davis' Landscape Architecture Advising Associate. Sharla enjoys being a part of Davis' Odd Fellows, attending music festivals, and looks forward to rooting for her favorite baseball team, the San Francisco Giants, at their home games.
